Noah Rott is an internationally performing pianist, keyboardist, composer, bandleader, electronic artist & music educator who fuses modern jazz with electronic soundscapes.
Originally hailing from Hamburg, Germany, Noah Rott migrated to New York City in 2017, where he swiftly carved out a niche for himself as a dynamic force within the city's jazz scene. As part of a new generation of jazz innovators, Noah Rott's virtuosic and versatile use of analog synthesizers and sound effects paired with his picturesque approach to the acoustic piano have garnered him attention and acclaim.
Noah Rott gained early recognition by winning first prize in the 'Jugend Jazzt Hamburg' competition in 2008 and 2010. He went on to study at the Hamburg Conservatory of Music and Theatre,
graduating in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Instrumental Performance. During this time he became a well-established pianist and driving force of Hamburg's local jazz scene and started to
perform nationally and internationally. He performed with several ensembles in the US, Europe, China, South Korea, Nepal, and Costa Rica.
Noah Rott was featured at world-renowned festivals and venues, such as European Parliament, Jewish Museum New York, Lincoln Center, Firehouse12, Nublu, Joe's Pub, Jazzmandu festival, Sultan Room,
Club Evans Seoul, LOFT Köln, Clifford Brown Festival, Elbjazz festival, Ueberjazz festival, Jazz Open festival, and many more. Furthermore he recorded twelve critically acclaimed albums as a
bandleader or sideman.
Besides his musical activities, Noah Rott worked as a cultural manager. In 2015 he founded the music label, artist collective and event series JAZZLAB with the objective to make improvised music
accessible to a new and young audience. In 2017 he was a founding member and host of the feel.jazz festival.
In 2017 Noah Rott was rewarded with the internationally renowned Fulbright scholarship to represent German culture in the US and further the mutual and cultural understanding of both countries.
In 2019 he graduated from the New York University with a Master of Music in Jazz Instrumental Performance. In this time he studied with some of the most innovative jazz artists of our time, such
as Peter Bernstein, Kevin Hays, Alan Ferber, Billy Drewes, Adam Rogers, Brad Shepik and Lenny White.
Additionally Noah Rott taught courses for undergraduate students at NYU in the fields
'Jazz/Pop Piano & Composition'.
In 2021 Noah Rott released his debut album as a bandleader on the label JazzLab featuring singer Ambrose Getz, bassist Almog Sharvit and drummer Jake Shandling. In the course of his career Noah Rott collaborated with world-known artists such as Jim Black, Shunzo Ohno, Joy Hanson, Lisa Hoppe, Theresia Philipp, Rich Perry, Tal Yahalom, Sandra Hempel, Silvan Strauss, Jerome Jennings, Florian Herzog, Gaya Feldheim Schorr, Nils Wogram, Frank Delle and many more.
He is currently leading a new quartet with the vision of creating an innovative sonic blend of acoustic elements and electronic sounds. His band features some of New York's most unique musical
minds, such as Alfredo Colon, Mathias Jensen and Kobi Abcede. Noah Rott is projected to release his second album as a bandleader in the fall of 2025.
Besides his work as a bandleader Noah Rott is currently an active member in several band projects such as Momentum, Jan Esbra & Noah Rott, Hazzard, Emma Noell and Amino Thrift.

2021 erscheint sein Debüt-Album "Rewind", welches mit Noah Rotts New Yorker Quartett, bestehend aus Ambrose Getz, Almog Sharvit und Jake Shandling, aufgenommen wurde.
Konzerttouren führten ihn durch Europa, USA, China, Südkorea, Nepal und Südamerika. Noah Rott trat auf vielen renommierten Festivals und Veranstaltungsorten auf, wie dem Europäischen Parlament,
Jüdisches Museum New York, Lincoln Center for Performing Arts, Club Evans Seoul, Jazzmandu Festival, Clifford Brown Festival, Elbjazz-Festival, Überjazz-Festival, und vielen mehr. Zudem wirkte er
als Sideman auf bisher zwölf Alben mit.
In 2017 wurde Noah Rott mit dem prestige-trächtigen Fulbright-Stipendium ausgezeichnet. In 2019 erlangte er seinen "Master in Jazz Instrumental Performance" an der New York University. Zu seinen
Lehrern zählen Lenny White, Peter Bernstein, Kevin Hays, Billy Drewes und Adam Rogers.
